Patten's Party Place

During the last 6 weeks of school, second graders worked on our economy unit. We learned about producers, products, goods, services, consumers, and money. Each second grade classroom created a variety of goods that they sold/bought today using the money they earned throughout the last month. We had a fantastic time during Mini-Mall!

Advice for new 2nd Graders

Today, students created an advice book for the incoming 2nd graders. Here are just a few examples (they definitely know me well!):

State Research

During Power Hour, students researched a state of their choice and created a flapbook containing all of the information they learned. Afterwards, they create a state stamp and an Educreation.
